Hi, My name is Victoria and I’m reaching out for help during a very difficult time in my life. I owned my mobile home and had thought that I had a stable place to live, but recently the mobile home park was purchased by a new company. After the sale, the lot rent was repeatedly increased. Living on a limited fixed income, I tried everything I could to keep up, but the rising costs became more than I could afford. Because of the rent increases, I was forced to leave my home. Losing my housing despite owning my mobile home has been devastating and has left me scrambling to secure a safe place to live. I could not sell my mobile home because they were not allowing new tenants to buy anyone's homes. Currently I and my service dog Sammy are completely homeless,and it's hard for me being homeless along with having to do Immunotherapy Chemo treatments every three weeks with no place to live. I am currently trying to gather funds for a new rental, but I need help covering the deposit and initial rent.
My goal is to raise $500–$700 to help with a security deposit and first month’s rent so I can move into stable housing as soon as possible. Any support, whether a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser, would mean more than I can express. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness you can offer.
